I had an assignment once in college, and that was to write about someone or something that would make a great movie. The movie had to be about someone or something that no one has seen before, and that assignment took me back to my youth. See, I was born in the late 1970s in Hammond, Indiana, and growing up the TV Show "Family Affair" was always on in re-runs. I loved that show as a child, and I still watch it now, thanks to the show being on DVD. I remember when I was about 12 or so I asked what happened to the kids on Family Affair, and one of my parents told me that Anissa had died, I was shocked. I never forgot hearing those words, and every once in a while I would wonder what kind of person Anissa was, and why she died at such a young age. I thought the real story of Anissa Jones would be a great movie, and I still think that. I started writing a script, but only in my head.
